Mallory Valley Utility District is closely monitoring the development of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Mallory Valley Utility District is closely monitoring the development of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety of our customers is always our top priority, and our water supply remains safe.
In our ongoing effort to protect our customers and staff, the District has enacted proactive safety measures to address COVID-19. For this reason, it may take our staff longer than normal to respond to routine customer requests and inquiries. In addition, we have closed the front office. The drive-thru window may not be open during our normal business hours, but customers can utilize our drop box 24 hours a day. Please contact our office at 615-628-0237 for assistance, and please understand that we may not be able to answer you call immediately, though we will return your call as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience during this time.
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) further ensures that the risk to water supplies remains low, and that Americans can continue to use and drink water from their tap as usual.
More information from the EPA can be found here: https://www.epa.gov/coronavirus/coronavirus-and-drinking-water-and-wastewater
We strongly encourage our customers to follow the guidance of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Tennessee Department of Health
Mallory Valley will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates as needed.
