Legal Notice to Vendors
RFP FINANCIAL/UTILITY BILLING SOFTWARE
Notice is hereby given that the Mallory Valley Utility District is soliciting proposals for FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND UTILITY BILLING SOFTWARE. Proposals will be accepted in the Districts Office, 465 Duke Drive, Franklin, TN 37065 until 4:00 P.M. on June 8, 2021, which may be amended by addendum issued by the District. All untimely proposals will not be considered and will be returned to the Vendor unopened. All proposals will be evaluated to ensure they contain all required forms to deem the Vendor responsive or non-responsive.
There will be a Non-Mandatory GoToMeeting Remote Pre-Proposal Bid Conference for the project at 10:00 A.M. (local time) on April 19, 2021. Instructions to connect to the meeting are enclosed in the packet. The representatives of each proposer shall be an authorized employee of the Bidder and shall sign in accordingly. Proposers are encouraged to attend the Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and are urged to obtain RFP documents and familiarize themselves with the documents prior to the Pre-Proposal conference meeting.
DESCRIPTION: Mallory Valley Utility District is requesting proposals from interested and qualified vendors of Financial Management and Utility Billing Software. The required functions of the Financial Management and Utility Billing Software are dictated by the District as identified within the RFP. The required and desired capabilities are listed with the RFP and should be addressed in the proposal. The District is also desiring expanded customer service capabilities and staff productivity through utilization of the state-of-the-art technology.
Copies of the Proposal documents, requirements, scope of service and all other pertinent information necessary to submit a complete package may be obtained electronically from the Mallory Valley Utility District website at www.mvud.org or by contacting the District’s Assistant General Manager, Bobby Nutt, [email protected] or 615-628-0237. All questions shall be directed in writing to the Assistant General Manager, Bobby Nutt [email protected] and reference “Questions on RFP FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & UTILITY BILLING SOFTWARE” in the subject line. Last day for questions will be May 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.
No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the proposal opening without the consent of the District.
No proposals received after the time and date specified for the opening will be considered. The Mallory Valley Utility District reserves the right to reject all proposals or to waive any and all non-substantial irregularities in Proposals received, whenever such waiver or rejection is in the best interest of the District.
Proposals shall be submitted in the District’s office marked on the outside: “RFP FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & UTILITY BILLING SOFTWARE” with one (1) original and one (1) identical digital version in pdf format on USB flash/thumb drive, addressed to Mallory Valley Utility District.
