RE: Mallory Valley Utility District
Water Line Replacement along Crockett Springs Trail and Andrew Crockett Court
Mallory Valley Utility District, your water provider, plans to replace the existing water lines and service connections in your area over the next few months. The slated water line replacement and improvements will begin at the cul-de-sac on Andrew Crockett Court and proceed towards the intersection of Crockett Springs Trail and Moores Lane.
Mallory Valley is mandated by the State of Tennessee to actively monitor and reduce water loss throughout its system. The existing water lines in your subdivision are PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipe which has experienced normal wear over the years and is in need of replacement. The District is replacing the 8 inch PVC pipe with an 8 inch ductile iron pipe which has a much longer lifespan and is not prone to deterioration as quickly as PVC. The District’s new water lines will be located within the City of Brentwood Right-of-Way (R.O.W.).
MVUD understands there will be some inconvenience for the customers along this route that may be caused during the project but we ensure you that we will do our best to limit these inconveniences.
MVUD will issue more information as the construction begins and will periodically update our website for progress and anticipated construction schedule. If you have questions regarding this project, please contact us at (615) 628-0237.
